Beginner's Mokulito Workshop

Mokulito means “wood lithography” in Japanese. The technique was created in Japan in 1970s by Ozaku Schisi and has been developed more recently by Ewa Budka (budkalito)and her father Josef Budka.

About the Event
On the first day of this 2-day workshop, you will learn how to prepare your plywood plate, try and test out the drawing materials, draw into your plate and cover it with Arabic Gum.
On the second day of this course, a short inking demonstration will be given. After this, the printing stations will be prepared for inking your plate. The plate will be washed before parinting.
By the end of the course, you will take home a small variable edition of prints.
