Carve, Ink & Print: An Introduction to Lino Printing
Discover the art of lino printing in this relaxed, beginner-friendly 2.5-hour workshop designed for complete beginners and those wishing to refresh their skills. Using an A6 soft-cut lino block, you'll learn how to develop and transfer a simple design, safely carve your block, apply ink and create a series of original hand-printed artworks.
Experiment with a selection of quality printmaking papers to explore different textures and finishes while learning the fundamentals of relief printmaking. With a maximum of six participants, you'll receive plenty of individual guidance in a friendly and supportive environment.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have your own carved lino block, a small edition of hand-printed artworks to take home, and the confidence to continue exploring lino printing independently.
